New research findings on the state of open finance adoption

Open finance is no longer a vague concept or emerging mandate. It’s quickly becoming a strategic priority for banks and credit unions of all sizes. To better understand how financial institutions are approaching adoption, Akoya recently partnered with American Banker to conduct new industry research on the state of open finance today.

Based on insights from more than 200 banking leaders, the research reveals strong momentum behind open finance, along with some unexpected leaders in adoption. The findings explore what’s motivating institutions to move forward, where they see the greatest value, what’s still slowing adoption, and which open finance use cases are gaining the most traction as institutions define their role in the data ecosystem.
